FROM FATHERS TO DAUGHTERS
In 1998, fifteen years after planting our first vineyards, we decided to take our project a step further and start making our first wines. The idea was clear: we had to transmit the same passion we had put into our vineyards, the same enthusiasm we had at that time, to this new challenge.

Our winery has two styles, a more traditional line of wines represented by our brand name Segares and a more innovative one under the name A Veredas.

VINEYARD
HIGH ALTITUDE VINEYARDS
All our vineyards are located on the plateau that separates the Ocón Valley and the Jubera Valley. It is a plateau that ranges between 250 and 650 metres above sea level. The vineyards have always been cultivated by our family, who around 1983 began to unify and replant the vineyards, choosing exclusively the Tempranillo variety.

Today, the winery offers three lines of wine that reflect our understanding of Rioja:
Segares, the most direct and fruity expression of our family vineyards.
A Veredas, Wines crafted with care, ageing and minimal intervention, where every detail matters.
Archbishop Diego de Tejada, our signature collection, produced only in exceptional vintages.
Three different paths, one common origin: the search for honest, profound wines full of character.
